WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE:  has been established for the sole purpose of producing a band that authentically reflects the true spirit and sound of AC/DC.

If you are after the look, sorry there's no school boy uniform. The band is all about getting the musical performance as close to the original as possible!

Cynthia Gallie. Vocals.

A power house voice that a lot of pure AC/DC fans were initially dubious about when confronted with a female singing their favorite band's songs............. Until they heard her.!

​

Many now travel 2 hours or more to come and see the band every time it plays.

​

Being a female with a strong voice she has the ability to hit those high notes on the Back in Black album that Brian Johnson is famous for, Something most others don't have!

Rohan Moran. Lead Guitar.

Rohan has been playing the part of Angus Young since 1988, first in a band called Back in Black who were one of the first tribute shows to arrive on the scene when tribute shows were becoming a thing.

 

That band changed its name to Thunderstruck in around 1995 and Rohan has been doing it since. Rohan is the perfect guy for Whole lotta Rosie, he knows each lick as if it's his own.

Along with having the right gear and vibrato in his finger tips, it's like listening to Angus Young.

Greg Aldridge. Drums. 

Greg was also in Back in Black, back in 1990. He grew up learning drums by playing along to all the albums from High Voltage, 1974  to, For Those About To Rock, 1982. He is the only drummer that comes close to having that Phil Rudd swing that gives AC/DC and Whole Lotta Rosie it's solid groove!

Greg has been lucky enough to have played in a band with Mark Evans ( AC/DC  1975 - 1977 ) along with Angry Anderson of Rose tattoo, plus members of The Angels and The Screaming Jets in Blood Sweat & Beers - The Concert. 2015 - 2018

​

In Mark Evans own words "No one has come as close to playing Let There Be Rock as Phil Rudd did on the album track, as Greg has".

Kevin Hunt. Bass.

Kevin is a well established Melbourne Bass Player / Vocalist who has toured with many well known artists around Australia, including Simon Wright ( AC/DC 1983 - 1989)  in the "Bon But Not Forgotten" show on several national tours along with Bob Spencer and James Morley both ex The Angels.

He also performs on a regular basis with Nat Alison ( Suzi Quatro band ).

Both Kev and Greg have played together on and off over the last 35 years and are one of the tightest rhythm sections around.

Danny Borthwick. Rhythm Guitar.

Danny is the newest member of Whole Lotta Rosie. . He has been playing the part of Malcolm Young for more than 15 years in Thunderstruck along with Rohan, He has the gear and the feel that's required to get Malcolm's parts not only right, but with that Malcolm Young guitar tone that is so recognisable and vitally important.
